New Year's Ball

Bring out the finery!
In January or February, the student council, together with volunteers, invites you to a stylish New Year's ball with music, decorations and a festive atmosphere.
Some years the ball comes a little later, and then it becomes a spring ball, just as nice, just with a little more sun in the air!

Graduation

Graduation is one of the biggest and most solemn moments of the year.
It usually takes place on the last Saturday of the school year , and we invite family and friends to celebrate the day with this year's students.

It will be a day filled with speeches, music, pictures, laughter and tears, a warm look back at the year that has passed and everything the students have experienced together.
After the ceremony, we gather for a light meal and time to chat before departure.

Sunday is the return trip for everyone , and the school year at Hallingdal Folkehøgskole has officially ended – with memories for life in our luggage.

Reunion at Hallingdal Folk High School

Are you a former student and would like to reunite with your classmates?
Then you are most welcome back to Hallingdal Folkehøgskole, the place where friendship, laughter and memories sit within the walls.

Several former students organize their own reunion weekends here at the school.
It can be anything from a simple evening of reminiscence to an entire weekend with accommodation, good food and shared activities.
Contact kjokken@hallingdalfhs.no to check when there is available capacity, it is usually possible to rent after May 17th and until the start of school at the end of August.

The school does not arrange special get-togethers for former students, but we think it is incredibly nice when old classmates meet here again for a chat, a walk in the hallway, or just to get a feel for the atmosphere.

You are always welcome back.
There is something very special about seeing old students find their way back to Hallingdal with new stories, old memories and the same good laugh.
