You can choose to participate the entire weekend, or come from Friday to Saturday.
Program for the weekend
Thursday
Arrival and possible check-in during the afternoon
Dinner at 7:30 PM–8:30 PM
Chat, sing and have a nice time in the fireplace room
Friday – elective day
Family and friends are invited to a completely ordinary – and very nice – elective day at school.
You can choose between:

Downhill skiing

Cross-country skiing trip
-
Creative elective: Creating and shaping (at school)
In the evening there will be a program evening with entertainment and activities.
Schedule Friday:

07.45–08.30: Breakfast (with packed lunch)

08.30: Morning meeting in the A hall

09:00–15:00: Electives

3:15 PM: Dinner

19:00–20:00: Dinner

20.00: Program evening

Practical information – downhill skiing
For those of you who choose downhill skiing, you can choose between:

Off-piste
-
The jib is alive
-
Bølle course (for those with good swing technique and a desire for challenges)

Turning technique
Ski passes are paid for by the individual, and you must have your own ski equipment.
We consider weather, snow conditions and price before making a final decision on which ski resort we use.
Please indicate your desired elective course when registering.

Participation without accommodation (accommodation in Gol)

Accommodation at Hallingdal Folk High School:
We have a few rooms available for rent. Prices include food, but not ski passes.
Thursday–Saturday (2 nights):

Prices do not include bed linen. Please bring a duvet cover, fitted sheet and towel.
Bed linen can be rented for NOK 180 per set.
Accommodation on a mattress in a student room:
