Three new lines - new opportunities at Hallingdal Folk High School!

Golf & Skiing, Steep Climbing, Motocross - Enduro. Three brand new lines that will take off from the fall of 2026 and open up new adventures in mountainous Norway!

This fall, Hallingdal Folkehøgskule has launched three brand new lines that give students even more opportunities to combine passion, learning and nature. All lines have their own direction, but what they have in common is a strong community, skilled teachers and a school year filled with activity and mastery.

Good1

Steep – Climbing, Mediterranean

Here you will experience the feeling of altitude and challenge yourself both physically and mentally.
The students train in indoor and outdoor climbing, ice climbing, belaying and summit trips in Hallingdal and Hemsedal. The year includes avalanche courses, winter travel, ice climbing and long mountain ski trips – with the highlight in Stryn and Folven in the spring.
A year full of mountains, community and steep experiences!

Motocross & Enduro

For those who like the smell of gasoline, mud and real mastery!
On this course you will learn driving techniques, maintenance, safety and competition understanding.
With Per Kristian Bakke , four-time Norwegian motocross champion, as your teacher, you will receive high-level training – both on the track and off-road.
A year for those who want to develop as a driver, build skills and have a blast with other motorsport enthusiasts!

Golf

Golf & Ski, Spain

Two seasons – two passions.
When the snow is gone, skiing and snowboarding are in focus – with trips to Hemsedal and Geilo , among others. When spring comes, the focus shifts to golf: training, technique and playing on beautiful courses in Spain and Hallingdal.
A line for those who love precision, pace and great experiences both on the mountain and on the green.
