Do you need a place to stay, organize a meeting or course?
We offer daily, short-term and long-term room rentals, as well as daily rental of meeting and training rooms.
With us you get a good price, the opportunity for dining and a pleasant setting - in the middle of Hallingdal.

🧳 Practical information

Check-in: after 3:00 PM
Check-out: by 11:00 AM
Bedding: Bring your own bedding and towels (can be rented if needed).
Bathroom: Shared bathroom and toilet in the corridor.
Parking: Free parking right next to the boarding house.
Smoking and pets: Smoking only in designated areas. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.
Closed during holidays: The school and boarding school are closed during the Christmas and Easter holidays , as well as when the school is on a group trip.

Room

The rooms are located in a separate boarding wing with a short walk to common areas and kitchen.
All rooms have a sink, mirror and closet , and share a shared bathroom in the hallway.

Double room: approx. 12 m²
Single room: approx. 8 m²

🍽 Food and dining

Hallingdal Folkehøgskole can offer full board during your stay.
Our friendly kitchen staff serves breakfast and dinner , while evening meals are arranged by the school's students and the teacher on duty.
All meals are eaten together with the school's students - a pleasant and social setting throughout the day.

During school holidays, the food service is closed.
The school and boarding school are also closed during the Christmas and Easter holidays .

Prices

🛏 Short-term and daily rentals

Daily price: NOK 350 per person
Long-term rental: (min. 4 nights) NOK 250,- per room per day from day 5 onwards

🍽 Meals

Breakfast: NOK 60 (with lunch: NOK 100 )
Dinner: NOK 90,-
Full board: NOK 180,- per person per day
(breakfast, lunch and dinner)

Food service follows the school's opening hours and is closed during the Christmas and Easter holidays.

Hallingdal Folkehøgskole offers its own prices for students.
The cost includes three meals per day – served in a pleasant and social environment together with the school's students.

Our friendly kitchen staff serves breakfast and dinner , while evening meals are arranged by the school's students and teacher on duty.
All meals are eaten together with Hallingdal Folkehøgskole students.

During school holidays, the food service is closed, and we adjust the cost prices accordingly.
The school and boarding school are also closed during the Christmas and Easter holidays .

Breakfast: 7:45 a.m. – 8:45 a.m.

Hallingdal Folkehøgskole has rooms for rent for courses, seminars and meetings – in bright and pleasant surroundings in the middle of the mountains.
Here you will get plenty of space, a pleasant atmosphere and the opportunity to be served from the school's kitchen.

We adapt to your needs, whether you are planning a smaller gathering or a larger professional event.
